eBay or Jason Burtman?

I know a lot of you guys buy parts from eBay and Burtman's website but there is such a big price difference when it comes to eBay. I was looking at buying clear corners, clear bumper lenses, and clear tailights and if I get it through eBay I would save a lot of money. I was wondering what you guys recommend ???

Thanks.

-Matt

yea that's my problem...I know jason burtman's clears will be of top quality, but eBay is so tempting. The pictures on the eBay auctions are the same as Burtman's site, but that doesn't say much.

Ive heard many good things about Jason's clear corners. I will be buying some from him soon. I wouldnt want to take a chance on ebay, usually you get what you pay for, unless its something with a brand name on it.

I'd probably buy from jason, since he was nice enough to take the time to answer all my questions about the footwell lights.

For the second gens at least, I could almost get two pairs of clear corners off ebay for the price of Jason's, which seems a bit absurd. But WTH I'll probably end up getting them from him, just to be sure, and to support a fellow Yotatecher.

I got my clears from Ebay before I knew that Jason sold them. If I had to do it again, I would order from Jason, gotta support the YT members!

I got mine on ebay for $10 shipped. Then I got my clear blinker lights for $15 at a local speed shop.

Not sure how that compares, but it's food for thought.

Mine look good, but up close you can see where muddy water entered and stained the outer rim of the lens. I personally don't care, but it is something to think about.

I am all about supporting fellow members - to a point. But that is just because I am a serious tight wad.

Jason's have the rubber seals around the outside. So far, they have been top notch on my truck. No problems that i know of and look real sharp. I would definately buy from Jason, he'll answer all the questions that you have and backs up his products.

I bought mine from Jason also, and have no complaints. He's a great guy to work with and I have no regrets.

However, I decided to replace my clear taillights with the stock ones after following my truck one night. I found the lights to be too pink-orange, instead of red, and just didn't like the look.

So, if you want a pair of gently used Altezzas for a 3rd Gen SR5 'Runner, let me know.

Will these fit a 2000 4runner? these are the altezzas with the chrome on them right? I might be interested in buying those.

jason all the way. i haven't purchased anything from him but he has helped me a lot even without. Hes a great guy and from what people say his products are the tip top. With ebay theres alwasys risks with buying no name parts like that because you don't know who is making them. Ive bought no-name stuff on ebay and the times i have I always regret it. Ebay is best for name brand things but besides that stick to a retailer. espicaly a fellow yotatecher!
