ebay hood any good?

Found this on ebay- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HOOD-...Q5fAccessories

scooped hood and everything. I am sure its a made in china knock off that may not fit perfectly but has anyone tried one yet?

It says 99+ 4runner, will this not fit a 98? I was unaware that they were any different.

99 will fit 98 no problem. The only issue you will run into is the one you described, being made in Taiwan (not China) parts are built CHEAP and usually leave nasty large gaps.

The only reason it says 99+ is they didn't start offering the Scooped hood until 1999.

i'd be interested to see this. seller rating and feedback is great, didn't really find any comments about hoods though. if i wasn't going to snowboarding in nc in 2 weeks i'd hop on it, someone has to be the guinea pig though

If you look close at the picture that hood is NOT complete, it is missing the fiberglass insert at the front of the scoop and as I recall from someones install thread on here there are other parts that you would need also.

i think you guys misread, the boarding trip is setting me back on fundage, i can't justify the purchase for a little bit, someone else is willing to step up though. and whoever does may want to look at certifit as well, see if they're offering the same items
