Ebay: HKS Exhaust System 2nd V6

I remember someone posting that they were interested in the HKS exhaust system. I found one on ebay for extremely cheap

I hope that's an actual HKS exhaust system and not a knockoff brand that he's calling an HKS, cause I've never heard the words "HKS" and "cheap" in the same sentence before

But if it is, and someone here picks it up let us know how it turns out

That was me who was interested in the HKS exhaust, but after emailing the guy to get an idea of shipping he came back to me with a quote of $370 just to ship to the UK!!!! ˟˟˟˟˟ I coulda brought a return plane ticket and flewn over to collect it by hand for that much

Thats why I never went for it, but it sounds a good deal if u get it for the right $$$

Cheers

Luke

I had this exhaust on my 90. Sounds great, fit perfect, and looked good. Well worth the money.

I think it made the truck quicker, but I also removed the cat (which I'm not going to debate anymore) when I put the exhaust on.

I saw this auction and noticed that no one had bid on it. So i bid the minimum... and won!

Pretty sweet deal. $220 total, and the exhaust came to my door yesterday, and installed it last night. Hardest part was finagling out the damn stock muffler when it was still a little warm. Yeah, I pay for my impatience.

So the sound is pretty sweet. Not having heard any other exhausts on 2nd gens doesn't really help me in comparison, though. It's a deep grumble at idle, and throughout the band it keeps it's tone.

Still a little hard to hear it's true tone over my intake, but I can tell the two apart. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.
