I just bought some oasis tire deflators off of e-bay, I won the auction on sunday, and payed via pay-pal on sunday the 8th. I have e-mailed the guy about shipping twice, but no reply. Should I report him to ebay. This is the first time I have bought off ebay, and am a little skeched out. I am not sure if I am too anxious to get them, or if i have a valid concern. what would you do?

i wouldn't worry. you paid through paypal and it has only been a few days. Depending on when it was shipped and from where, it might not get to you until Monday. Give it a week, and if the seller still hasn't replied and you have no goods, then report an item not recieved. I would hold off on Neg. feedback for a second. Stuff happens and we all get tied up--not an excuse, but it is reality

It's a little too early to get concerned. Some of those sellers don't respond very fast. If you don't get them in about 5-7 days I'd start asking for a tracking number. I had one seller that didn't ship until 8 days after I paypaled him the money, but that was the slowest shipping I've experenced. What was his feedback %? I never buy from anyone with less than 99% positive feedback.

I'm dealing with this on another auction for a Maxrad cb mount. I've sent him payment and emailed him twice this week with no response. If I don't hear anything by early next week I'm going to get eBay involved.

Just keep in mind that you will have 3 months to report a claim. Once the 3 months are passed, ebay won't care.

E-Bay's policy is that you have to wait at least 10 days from the exact point you won the auction before anything can even be started. I've done my fair share of time there, and most of the time in a situation like yours the seller just sends the item off to you and does not respond past that. It annoying, but its life. At least it's a small amount. Not say, like a truck.

How much feedback does the seller have? Quite often you will find avid sellers having extended shipping times due to volume.

dude is the guy from AZ? I won some oasis tire deflators a while back, and he didn't list a shipping price in his auction so I didn't pay right away....I kept emailing him for a quote....he never responded....I'm glad I didn't lose any money but kinda bummed cuz I woulda gotten a brand new set of deflators for $15 plus shipping....

Give it at least a week and a half before contacting ebay. Every time I get woried about something off ebay it shows up on my doorstep the next day. Some sellers are too busy to reply to everyones emails unfortunately..
