Does This Look Different?

Hey all, I was browsing pics and this 4Runner looked different:

Is it just me, or are those '99-up headlights? Becasue they look to have a clear lense like the '99-up where the '96 to '98 have the different lense.

Just wondering.

Thanks

It looks like it was just washed and waxed and placed on those rocks?

It's just you . I've actually seen the printed ad for this and you can definitely tell they are the "frosted" lenses.

I repeat I HAVE seen the PRINTED AD of this exact picture and they ARE the FROSTED HEADLIGHTS. The web pciture doesn't have as much detail as the printed ad did, that's why they look clear. That is clearly a 96-98 Limited 4Runner (check out the front bumper) The frosted headlight came on the 96-98 4Runners and the clear headlights were on from 99-02.

Bingo as you said it doesn't have the "chin" on the bumper so it's definitely 96-98.

I don't think there is any debate on if the 4runner pictured was a 96-98 or not, just that the headlights look later model.
If you say this digital pic is missing detail and the printed ad does show them as frosted, it sounds like a dead issue to me.
....in all honesty I would be surprised if they did touch up the ad a bit, after all it is a marketing ad right?

Just as MTL said, I know that it is a '96 to '98 4Runner. The headlights just looked like the '99 up clear headlights to me.

Thanks
