Im going to be using locks with my ARs, because the master install kits (lugs, valve stems, install tool for lugs) I found were for 5 lug vehicles, and couldnt find/get 4 more lugs, so I just bought 4 locks.

Also, my town is kinda shady, so...

i use them only because the lug kit i bought didnt have enough regular llugs for my wheels....

personally, wheel locks suck... i used to be a tire technician and could remove almost any wheel lock within seconds, the only wheel locks that ever took awhile to remove were the keyed style like some porsches and bmws have......

not only will wheel locks not stop a determined theif, or one who knows even a little about getting them off, but if you lose the key, a shop like i used to work at will gouge you to work on your car for the removal.... or digging around your car at night looking for the lost key because you had a blowout on the freeway... the tow companies will not remove the wheel lock for you.. at that point they end up being more of a hassle than anything else

there are kits available to anyone to remove wierd nuts, bolts, and wheel locks available from tool trucks or jsut about anywhere.. sears even has some....

matter of fact is, its common knowledge to be able to remove wheel locks..... tool companies sell kits to do it... they have them at sears!

it is an open forum and if anyone wants to track down my truck from here and steal my wheels, i will gladly meet them outside with a baseball bat... not a big deal.....

i don't use them.

my truck came with them. i eventually lost the key...took me about 2 minutes to get them off without the key.

there are several threads on several forums that detail exactly how to get them off.

and, frankly, any thief who can't figure it out without reading how prolly can't even read or use a computer to begin with.

i would say wheel locks are even less effective than the "club".

Which one of your parent's rides are they going on again?

I have no idea if my Jetta has them or not.
