Hey, all!

I did some considerable searching and exhausted all my options before posting. This truly has be baffled.
My driver-side headlight is dim. At first I thought it had burned out. But, upon closer inspection, it was just very dim. I replaced the bulb. That wasn't it. I replaced the fuses. That didn't fix it. Now I'm completely baffled. When I replaced the bulbs, I made sure the harness was making good contact. I read a thread that suggested it might be a gound wire. Can anyone tell me what color the ground wire is, please? Or can anyone offer any other solutions?

If the fuse fixed it then why really mess with it. It may be more trouble than its worth.

 

I edited my message due to a typo. The fuse DID NOT fix it. Now I don't trust my mechanical abilities OR my spelling abilities.

 

Do you know how to use a test light? (Just a more simple way to find out without knowing how to use a voltohmmeter) If so then put it on the power side of the wire and see if the bulb is lit at full power, if not full power then you will have high resistance on the power side, if full power then check the ground side (maybe someone here will have a diagram and point out the ground for you) and see what result you get.

 

oops, i missed that i guess.
mine went really dim when the fuse poped once. somehting to do with reverse ground or somehting.

 

It might be a bad ground. Check the ground.
