Diff drop question
Are they easy to install? How long would it take? I am having the dealership install my OME coils/shocks next week and want to know if its easier to install the diff drop before or after the lift. I work odd hours and have no time to really do anything. Thanks in advance.

Yikes a dealership? Thats spendy
Its best to install the diff drop at the same time as the suspension lift. That way, the suspension is already loose and being worked on.

lol, i thought this was another one of those "Do I need a diff drop for the lift on my 2wd runner" threads
Do it yourself! its just a few bolts....if you had the dealer do it I'm sure they will add a bit of time on the bill for it

Why are you paying the stealership to put on your lift.
Honestly I am supprised that they're going to even do it. Or when it's done they're going to tell you next time you bring it in that I needs the orginal suspension on to fix the drip from your oil pan or to make your AC compressor work or something like that.

Hold off until the lift is installed and then pay close attention to your CV boots for the first few weeks. You may not even need the diff drop, and could return it for credit perhaps. I did not need mine-only gained about 1" up front but 3 in rear.
Which old man emu coils are you going to?

I am getting 881/890 with the comfort ride shocks on both ends. I will be getting a TJM T15 soon. I am having the dealership do it because I have no time to do it myself, they are only charging me 270 to do it, 200 for the install, and 70 for the alignment. Wil I need a different panhard bar too?

Some do some don't but in most cases its best to get one, especially if its a daily driver because if it turns out you do need one... thats going to suck to not have it if you know what I mean... isn't it only 75$ at SS anyways?
