Take a look at this site. I used it and found it very easy to follow.

There is a Nissan vacuum fitting that will fit. But, the best thing to do is to just pry off the "head" of the existing one, run the line up to the gas cap, then plug in a new breather.

You really should get a new breather if you do any wheeling. It's purpose is to prevent crap and debris from getting in there.

okay guys, i have the two necessary toyota parts on order (though they cost me $20) and picked up the rest of the supplies today.

my question is ... what's the difference between fuel hose and fuel injection line??

Im not sure, but just get the fuel hose. I think its something like 1/4". I just took the diff breather to Autozone and they fitted me with a hose. WHere do you plan on putting the breather?

hmm ... Good Times and some other guys said to use 3/8" hose. all i could find at my local place was 3/8" fuel injection hose and i dunno if it's any different. i'm going to put the breather so it comes out the fuel cap area.

i went into autozone today too ... but they were playing spanish music and didn't understand what a hose was.

The type of hose doesn't matter, it's not like it's a critical pressurized component like a transmission line or something. Just about anything will do. I used clear tubing from the hardware store.
