Deckplate Mod Addition?

All,

Has anyone seen this link before?

http://www.customtacos.com/tech/arti...4/intakepart1/

Not sure if 4Runners have room but wanted to see if anyone has tried it, or if this would help move more air into the engine.

Thoughts?

Chris

The air box looks alot different on the 2.7l. I'm not sure there would be an easy way to do this on a 3.4l, or if it would be more effective than the deckplate mod. Very interesting, though...

You are correct about that. I was just wondering if you could tap in a *couple* 1.5" or 2" PVC's into the radiator side of the airbox, yet still before the air filter.

Got to stop daydreaming about all this at work! By the way, I can't check my email from work (firewall setup!), so I have not seen your email yet.

Thanks,
Chris

Putting openings on the radiator side might work...Good Idea!

I will cut/paste the email to a private message so you can read it now if you want...

EDIT: i can just put the info in the Intake question thread, maybe this will be beneficial to others.
