Is there a difference between the CV shafts used on an ADD system and ones used with manual locking hubs? Thanks in advance.

 

Yes, the outer joints are different.

You cannot use the opposite type on either setup.

 

Thanks guys! I have the opportunity to buy a couple of used Genuine Toyota ADD hubs locally. I was thinking they would be nice spares. Is there much of a resale market for these since they are (from what I hear superior to aftermarket) Genuine Toyota, you know for spares? I have manual hubs so I have no use for them.

 

I think your results selling them will be hit or miss. All depends on if your selling at the right time. May take you a year may take you a week.

 

The wheelers on ttora.com will snatch up those OEM shafts like they're going out of style. Try hocking them over there.
$75 each is a decent price for good condition OEM shafts.
