That looks FANTASTIC! Toyota should have done that factory! I'm gonna do a full Satoshi grille mod within the next few weeks. But i just love how it turned out for you! the silver look on all black REALLY makes a difference!

I've been wanting to do the same thing! Looks great, but I think it might look better if you took out those smaller plastic crossbars...

How much does one of those sheets cost?

Here's a few pics of my old grill. I put the mesh on the outside. I also added some to the lower valance and hood scoop to match:

Looks great! That could be a future mod even I can probably accomplish. Approx. how much id that sheet of "bullet hole" SS sheet metal set you back?

Looks good, but I'd be a little worried it could hurt the air flow some to the radiator. You didn't happen to get before and after temp readings from your OBDII readout did you?

pfdaxe, when you put yours on the outside, did you still leave the factory peicies behind it or did you remove them? and how did you get them to stay on the outside

also gutter guard from home depot can be used to the same effect, usually runs 6 dollars for a sheet. looks great favre

On my original grill, I left everything intact and didn't cut any of the grill. I first attached with zip ties, but didn't like the fact that you could see them, so I decided to use picture hanging wire from Home Depot. It blends in so you cannot notice it.
