What do you people use this for? I have not found anything that would stay there. My cd book won't fit, I don't smoke, cell won't stay put, neither will my stereo remote. Maybe its a stupid question. There has to be someone with a brilliant use?

I stick my remote for my deck in it. I use a small piece of velcro on the remote and on the bottom of the cubby to keep it in place. Would also work for your cell, if you didn't mind the velcro.

I've always wondered about making a door or lip for it. *pondering new mod*

 

i do believe some people have put a cb in there underneath the cd player to give it a somewhat stock look..or..something..

Which are you talking about? The hole under a single din head unit or the useless area under the ash tray?

I put a temp gauge (Jason B's idea) in the area below the ash tray. It is currently not working (bulb burnt out), but this is an idea.


If you are referring to the pocket under the head unit, the Camry's have a door on that compartment, and it can be bought from the dealership.

ive gotta get a new head unit REALLY soon. i cant stand this stock stereo unit anymore -- its terrible. cd player makes a weird squeak, sound is bad... ugh. im done.

then itll be time to install speakers.

before you know it, ill install a viper engine

 

Bottom, bottom, under the ash tray. I have been putting my cell and remote in the din. I am going to figure something out. I don't really need a CB; some gauges could be usefull. I just got a Dremmel so anything is possible right??
