Trying to go custom or just a little more flashy than stock?

When I purchased the rig my intentions were to put a custom paint job on her...
So 75% throught the process I got a new job which requires me to travel and well the $3.00 per gallon just would'nt cut it so here I am.
I would LOVE to keep her but I already have a hot rod and a bike so one has to go....

As for the $$ I have a buddie that has a body shop so the only real cost was the materials.
I figure that the $500 I spent should come had to me three or four times..

How does $4800 for a rig where I'm the second owner with only 130,000 miles????

i would be VERY interested in seeing some pics closer up of your rear quarter panel where the stock bumper used to wrap around. Did you hack off the lower portion of the quarter panel?

Custom paint jobs usually cost pretty big $. It is very difficult though to get someone after to pay the same price for the mod itself unless you find someone that sees value in it. If $4800 is the going rate (e.g. Edmunds, Ebay, etc.), then you may get more interest b/c of the custom paint job.

$4800 for a 1990 is a bit steep. $3000 would be more reasonable.

Yup, I only paid $2500 for my 90 and it had new paint when I bought it and not a thing wrong with it.
