Cleaning truck after offroading?
Well, after doing some light offroading last night, my friends and I found ourselves stuck in a giant sandpit (blasted 2WD!!
) The whole back end of my truck sunk into the sand untill the exhaust pipe was almost submerged.....it took ALOT of digging but we finally were able to back out with some weight in the back end.
So my question is this, is there any special measurements to take when cleaning the underside of my truck? I was planning on just hosing it down, but I dunno if I should take the wheels off and clean the brakes and whatnot. Any advice would be great!

You don't need to go to that extreme of taking the wheels off.....
Just get a portable springler that can sweep up and side to side. Put that under the truck, have a beer, move it a little, repeat.....

When I lived in FL sand was also a big problem. I used to use a compressor and blast all the little holes, cracks, brakes etc with an air nozzle at 120 psi. Water seemed to harden the sand in whatever hole it was stuck into a larger clump. Air worked way better than water for me.
