Chrome Package Tailpipe Tip (Pic)
Here is a picture of the stainless Steel tailpipe tip that is part of the "SR5 Chrome Package". It has an interesting mounting system as you can see from the picture. There is a corrugated piece of stainless that acts as a stand-off shim and is directly across from the seam where there are three mounting holes, two of which have set-screws in them. All you have to do is position the tip on the tailpipe, seam and set screws on the bottom, and tighten the screws. That's it!
This is a nice piece and the rolled edge outlet measures 3.25".
The retail on this is $89.14 and I paid $66.85. :pat:
The PN is PZ327-35003

I know it is a bit much but I wanted the Toyota part and I only have to buy it once.
Here's what I have on the end right now. I paid about $26.00 for it and it is really very nice. The oval shape is in keeping with the oval TRD badges I have on it.
The Toyota tip is going on a silver chrome powder coated tip. I'll only use it when I go out to the big city.

That looks good. I dont think I would have paid that much, but that's what's cool about personalizing rides.
Who am I to talk anyway? I just spent $100 on a part that didnt work as advertised.

Let me preface the answer to your question by saying that it requires cutting over 3" off of your OE tailpipe and then about 1" off of the stainless tip. The machining I had to do was a PITA.
The company that makes the tip is 3A Racing (www.3aracing.com) and they don’t let you for get that because their fricking logo is engraved on the face of the tip. The piece is very well made and is a very snug fit, but you still have to use the three setscrews, less the U-clamps. It is a brand new part (SKU # 62-2450) for them and is not even on their website yet. I think I got it at Pep Boys.
I hated to cut the pipe up and since then I have ordered another tail pipe to use with the Toyota tip. I must admit that the oval tip really looks good and now that there is some carbon soot building up around the rim it even looks better. I just hate that ricer writing on the face. The TRD logo was all right on the exhaust I had but 3A racing ... plezzze!
I also got a SS oval tip for my Avalon made by 3A Racing (no engraved logo) that is identical to the one you see on the Lexus, but this one cost only about $12.00. I was so thrilled to find it because I have been looking for a long time. Here is a picture of that one.

See if you can't take it back for a refund. Oh yeah, I found this chrome thing in my attic yesterday. It's original use was for supporting a desk, but it adds 50RWHP to my 4Runner! Look!

Seriously, when was the last time you priced a stainless tip from. lets say, Tri-Flo or one of those mfg's?
Please guys, lets not pick on me anymore. I was just posting this for the benefit of those who might appreciate it. Okay
