hmm, after you get the rubber housing off, the pin should be pushed down and back i believe...i'm sure someone else will chime in...remember, when puttin in new bulbs..DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB, just touch the metal part...the oil and grease on your hands will cause the bulb to burn out faster if not explode if there is too much oil on the bulb...good luck

First pull the connector/harness off. Next, there should be a tab on top of the rubber boot. Pull...work the bottom off too. There is a retainer wire, push in and it should spring out when you release. As Clin sez...no touch the glass on the bulb. Line up the 3 tabs on the H4 bulb, set it in, push the clip back on, boot and connector. Maybe 5 minutes install...the battery side is a little cramped. Good luck.

all i can do is go step by step...if this doesn't help, then someone is gonna have to provide pics
1. Pop Hood
2. Take black rubber boot off and slide it down the wiring harness
3. Unplug harness from bulb
4. Push down and back on the spring
5. Bulb should come right out..the spring is what holds it in place
6. Put new bulbs in (do not touch the BULB...only the metal part)
7. Replace spring
8. Plug harness back in
9. Pull black rubber boot back and cover it (make sure it's on to keep moisture from getting in)
10. Test to see if new bubls work
11. Close hood.
That should be it..hope this helps...

That being said, you should be able to pull the brown box thingy off the black tube. The black tube connected to the bulb is being held in by the chrome springy wires around it. Look and you will see it catches on one side. Push it in and slide it around that hook to open the wires up like a gate.
You should now be able to grab the black tube thingy and slide it back and out, with the bulb attached. Replace the bulb & reverse these steps & you should be in business.
