Can you put an elocker 3rd in a regular axle?

Can you put an elocker 3rd in a regular axle?
Question is can you put a used TRD elocker third in a regular axle? I was wondering if you could and just wire up a toggle switch to kick it in and out or is there more needed. Truck is in sig and did not come from factory with elocker. Thanks.

no, not if you have a tacoma. only in a 4runner. the non locked axles (yours) have 8.4" thirds and the locked TRD axles (not yours) are 8". get an ARB or swap axles.
