Cal State Univ Fullerton, who's lifted Runners?

There are two lifted 3rd gen runners that I have seen parked in the parking structure... A silver one and a black one... I'm hoping they are on this forum... If so, can you post some pics of your rides and list your suspension setups? I think the black one also had a body lift and the silver one looked like it had some spacers... maybe cornfed. Anyways both your trucks are amazing.

I do not currently go there, long story short... I'm going next semester.

But mine is parked across the street in the Nutwood East Apartments. Drive on in and see if my truck is there if ya wanna see it...

Nitrohotpants, nice rig. From your sig, it says 2WD with 4WD gear. Does this mean you've put in the front diffential or just all the exterior gear?

Parking was a struggle back in the early 80's when I was driving a Rabbit S that I converted into a Golf GTI. I drove my '90 Toy with Tuffy on the back window for years. Look for my truck in the parking lot when baseball season starts again! Oh yeah, GO TITANS!

(I know it's tough at a commuter school. But, we do the best with what we have. Just don't forget, you can get a top notch education there that can get you into a top grad school or a great job. It's up to you to look for it. It's not handed to you like other schools. Let me know if I can help.)

Garrett, thanks for the post. Pretty cool stuff. Not my thing right now but I know a couple of 2WDs that have been contemplating this (hint Erik)... Just didn't know how much work went into this.

One quick question: pics were great but what was the total cost?

Used tacoma tranny/t-case (37K miles) - 400
Used front diff, axles, spindles, hubs - 600
front driveshaft - 50 or 150 I dont remember
Rear driveshaft - 100
Regear front diff - 500

then some labor costs. But I got a great deal on it.

Overall, the whole project cost me around 3500. Keep in mind there were a few parts that I didnt mention. But all the info is basically on Schaefer's site.

Thanks for the info. By the look of your pics, it appears you're really enjoying the $3500...

At first, a lot of my friends and people I talked to thought I would never use it. And I wanted to prove them wrong. Luckily I love doing this stuff, I would never go back. I have way too much fun to stop now.
