Talking Bushwackers Coming Today!!!

Last week Magnaflow! This week Bushwacker!! They'll be on Thursday with pics to follow. I'm waiting on my Weatherflectors to come in. They've been back ordered and should be here in approx. 1 week. I love my 4Runner!!! What's next? Probably either a Thule or Yakima roof rack. I'm still researching to see which one out of all of them is the best for the money. Any one care to put in their 2 cents?? I've got a 2002 SR5.

Congrats on all the buys.

As for the roof rack... I'm a firm believer in Thule gear. I don't care for the round Yakima bars... road/trail vibrations tend to cause some fasteners to rotate around the round bars. IMO, the square Thule bars are more secure. But it all depends on what you are using the rack for.

Thanks for the 2 cents. I look at your site quite a bit actually for ideas. When my warranty runs out I'll probably go with a similar suspension setup as yours. Your truck looks great. My next step after the roof rack will probably be some real tires instead of the little sneakers I have on there now (stock w/ 15" wheels). What's next on your list, anything?

some recovery gear, a couple of accessories for my roof rack, and new tires. The specifics are on my website.

changing your suspension will not void your entire warranty. it will void your suspension warranty and maybe your steering and front driveline, but other than that you will be fine.

That's good to know about the warranty. Has anyone had any issues with the ever-so-popular Saw/OME setup? Any other suspension suggestions??? Bilsteins, etc.

I've done the Bushwackers on mine as well, they look great, check my sig line for pics. I run SAW's up front and I love them. Mainly because the are fully adjustable from 0"-3" I don't have OME's so I can't really help you there except that everyone that has them loves them as far as I know. I went with the Yakima roof rack instead of Thule for no particular reason I just didn't have a dealer near by that sold Thule and I like the accessories for the Yakima as well. But talk to Jackson about the Thule stuff, he is an expert on it. Good luck!

Sweet looking rig Jonathan. Thanks for the reply. What size tires and wheels do you have? Care to comment on how you like your tires?

When I installed my 'whackers, I wish I would have drilled the holes, then sprayed them with some rust-preventative stuff before I mounted them.

Maybe I'll pull them off for the next wax job and do it then....
