Left work for a few minutes today to pick up breakfast for a couple people. I'm sitting at a red light waiting to turn into this burrito place. Just as I start giving it the gas, the thing sputters and a CE light comes on. I limp into the parking lot, pop the hood while the engine is running. I walk around the back and notice the exhaust smells particularly rich. I open the hood, poke around and notice the 2nd wire on the driver's side has completely seperated. I've seen this only one other time on the '83. The spark plug wire completely cracked and seperated from itself. These things are only 2 months old. So, I limped home and installed one of the old wires as a temporary fix. I wish I had the time to snap pictures.

Anyone else have a plug wire completely blow apart?
