bored - updated my upcomming mod list

well, it's 4am, and I've already been up for 3 hours (my 2 year old won't sleep). I'm bored, so I decided to update my mod list for the runner. Obviously I'd like to regear and get locked at some point, but I have to be more realistic and think about costs and how I use my rig.

I'm hoping to get through the on-board air setup this summer, but we'll see.

Mod List

Jackson I think you're one of the only unlucky fools like me who have 3.90's and have to regear when going up to 33's...........

However, good luck with ur mods, they don't seem too bad, except for the regearing and OBA

Nope, I'm in that club too, although I haven't regeared yet either.

Yea, I have 3.90s, but I'm not going to regear at this point - maybe next summer when I can do gears and lockers at the same time. I'm currently running 32s on my 3.90s and it's not too bad. I doubt 33s will be that much different.

I honestly didn't feel much of a power loss, but then again I don't drive to set speed or acceleration records with it either. Mileage did go down but I was expecting that.

I can't stand the power loss or the mileage with my 32's on 3.90's. It's horrible, on long road trips I have to gas up every 3-4 hours.

edit: I know a guy up here that said he can do gears for 700 including install. I'm really tempted to, but I don't want to put any more $$ into my rig.

Have you done any research on this? From what I've been told, and the little bit I understand about gears, regearing will, if anything, decrease your gas mileage.
