Just finished putting in a boost gauge for my 01 4runner. I think I winged the install alright except for 1 thing: the dimmer is in reverse so when I dim the gauge cluster, the boost gauge goes bright (and visa versa).

I think I read something about this before the instructions were chewed up by my dog, does anyone have any insight?

 

No one has installed a TRD boost gauge?

 

go to Lotek and get a dual gauge pod painted to match the interior color of your truck much cleaner looking imo.
