Body Mount Missing Need Help ASAP!!!

Hey guys, so on my way to the local offroad place my truck started swaying real bad at speeds above 50mph my first thought was swaybar bushings, but then i remembered that i already replaced those last year with poly bushings from wheelers offroad. next i thought it was the suspension was worn out... did the rebound test, all checked out fine enough. then i look at my body mounts... i think im missing part of one... can anyone with a 3rd gen get under their trucks and look and tell me if this is normal??

this is directly behind the driver door

this is in front of the rear drivers side wheel

thanks in advance yotatech

really? does your truck sway at high speed at all?

i might also note that my truck is now leaning on the driver side, what else could this be?

Thats weird, because the pic looks as if there is nothing to hold it down, i would think that is where your sway is coming form, isn't the gas tank on the drivers side on the third gens? Maybe thats why it leans

i cant believe that this is normal, and yes the gas tank is on the drivers side, but before i filled it up with 16.5 gallons for a whopping 58$ it was still leaning significantly to the drivers side... so if this is normal, why is my truck now leaning and swaying at high speeds?

i have about 70k miles on my OME suspension, and ive beat it up pretty bad, but when i do the push on the bumper and see what happens, it only bounces once before it settles. when i do the side to side it takes a couple before it stabilizes

my body mounts are a little dry rotted but this sway has been happening for maybe the last 20k miles but within the last 1000 it has gotten WAY worse

i dont care if its the suspension or the body mounts, i just want to fix it because its become to dangerous to drive to my favorite wheelign spots. what else could cause this bad of sway?

No, that is not right, that body mount isn't even working, it has to be touching the frame mount, and it isn't. So there is something terribly wrong there.

Congratulations to you. My 92 4Runner had body mounts like that, so does my 3rd gen. This is normal in 3rd gens. Heres a few threads.

Did you change your rear swaybay bushings and endlinks as well? I ask since wheelers only has the front kit.

i dont want to just throw parts at this and hope something resolves it, i want to know what it is and fix that one part

anyone have ANY clue as to what could cause the sway, ive been searching yotatech and cant find anything helpful...
