Better Cams!?

I bought atermarket cams for my 3.4 Tacoma @ webcamshafts.com. They are great but run way to ROUGH. Does anybody know a differant brand of cams or smoother cams?
Thanks,
NX Taco

These guys mill cams for your engine. Looks like their website is being updated, but they do have contact information. You can also check with these folks.

A question or two about your cams:

1. Did you get new valve springs?
2. How much lift/duration are they?
3. When you say it runs "rough"; Do you mean you have a "Loping" idle or that it runs poorly at any RPM?

Just wondering...

You are better off staying with the stock cams and using a supercharger and/or doing cylinder head port work. We have experimented with modified cams and found that the stock ones generally work the best overall.

I still have the stock valve springs, the duration is@ .050, and it always runs rough at any RPM.

I would get asupercharger but I already have nitrious(75 shot).

It sounds like when the cams were reinstalled the gears or the belt was put on one tooth off. Did you get the regrind or hard-weld?
