Best Rear Coil Setup
So I like the way my stock 98 SR5 4Runner rides but I'm planning on a lift in the near future. Looking for around 2 - 3 inches of lift w/ 285 tires. This vehicle will be used 90% on road. I plan on doing the Tundra lift on the front but I'm unsure about the rear. A lot of people seem to have an OME, Downey, or LC rear coil setup, so I would like some feedback from those people on their own exerience.
So here's the questions: What rear setup can I use (with my Tundra front lift) to get the lift I want and keep as close to the stock ride as possible. Please give coil and stock type/brand.

You posted this in the wrong section. You can PM one of the mods to have them move it the 3rd Gen 4Runner section. That's probably why you don't have any responses.
In the meantime, search for OME 890s and 891s, Downey coils and LC coils. Keep in mind your truck won't ride like you are used to so think long and hard on if you want to even lift it.

If you do LC Coils in the rear, just be prepared the amount of lift they give. They usually provide well over 3 inches of lift. (I got 4 inches on mine).
So with that said... you would have to play catch up for the front. With the LC Coils in the back you will have alot of rake. You gotta watch how much you lift your front due to CV issues. Anything close to 3 inches or more is just asking for puking CV boots, etc.
I previously ran 2.5 inch front coil spacers in the front with OME 891s in the back. I had around 1 inch rake which didnt look bad IMO and it got me between 2-3 inches of lift.

I have the system 7 from Sonoran steel which has the OME 890's and the trekmaster shocks for a 3" lift. Couldn't be happier. I have the TRD Blue Shock in front with the Tundra coils for a 2.5" Lift. Great combo.
