Hey, I was wondering what would be the best paint to use to paint a grille, would any store bought spray paint work well? Or has anyone use something else that worked out good? The colors are black and silver.

I'd try to find some sikkens u-tech. From all I've heard about it I'm gonna try to paint my whole truck with it.

 

It's not all about the paint... what I mean is, it's more how you prep your piece for painting. Make sure you sand the piece properly, tack rag it, and use a proper primer. If you have plastic piece, then make sure you have plastic primer (or flex primer), or if metal use metal primer. If you just use paint and clear it will eventually start to chip off with time. Spend most of your time on the prep work. The paint itself will just add the colour where the primer will basically keep it on there. It's the bonding agent for paint.
