Best location for new oil sender (Autometer oil pressure gauge)
Hey guys,
I'm getting ready to install my Autometer oil pressure sending gauge (#2634). Its electric, so no oil line coming into the cabin.
Which location is best to install the supplied oil pressure sender? A1 or A2? A1 looks easier because its relatively straight line with the wheel well access "hole" (the same hole I use to remove the oil filter)

For reference, "S" is the stock oil pressure sender
Also, I read that these two little 8mm allen bolts are loctite'd. what's the best way to de-loctite it? hopefully not heat b/c i dont have a torch!
thanks,
bob

Thanks for the warning re A1.
I thought that there were two plugs you could tap next to the oil sender unit. I guess I read incorrectly. (phew!)

But I'm wondering (just for the record) - what's the problem with using A1 'cause it's on the oil pump? Erroneous readings? Failure risk? Bad karma?...
