to my knowledge, amsoil doesnt make a 2nd gen. application. then again, i could just be an idiot

They don't. I went to ther website, thought I ordered one, but didn't. I am just staying with stock toyota. Cheap and easy.

Denk, is this for the 4 cyl? Or do you actually have this filter for your V6? Because, as far as I know Amsoil does not make an air filter for the V6. A bunch of people here tried to get them to make one but amsoil said they couldn't do it. See this thread.

BTW, Praufet, you didn't say if you have a V6 or the 4cyl.

Denk, after looking at the Amsoil web page I noticed this at the bottom of the application guide:

"Note: Bold Part Numbers are Amsoil Part Numbers and others are Hastings Part Numbers"

The only part that is bold is the oil filter. The air filter "AF894" is not in bold which led me to check out the hastings web site.
The picture of filter "AF894" mentions nothing about it being resuable and is a picture of a standard paper filter.

I would want to talk to the person who sold that airfilter to you and ask some questions. While they didn't give you the shaft price wise, you were misled because it ain't an amsoil filter and it isn't reusable.

PRICE CHECK- A paper airfilter from advance auto parts runs $9.99 to $15.99 depending on brand
