Went out this morning and my battery is dead. I put the key and turned it so I can move the gear shift from park to neutral to move it so I can jump it. I have done this i the past, but this time the the shift gear won't move. I was even depressing the brake and it still won't move. I can't jump it where it is parked - any suggestions???

 

Try rocking it front to rear while trying to move the shifter (you may need some assitance) the park pawl may be kinda jammed inside the tranny not a major deal just happens time to time.

 

x2. also a flat head screwdriver will work without removing the cover.

 

x3, the manual does show how to do this. the key works great. ive even used a dime.
