Just wondering if anyone has ever tried to retrofit that roof mounted light bar that came on Jeep Liberty's to a 3rd gen 4runner.

 

I have never read anyone considering that or seen a picture anywhere but that does gives me some ideas! If you decide to try it, post some pictures...

The hood scoop looks worse than the light bar.

 

man, i think that lightbar looks weak on that tacoma. wow

 

Kills MPG also. Roof is just one of those bad places to stick things.

I've thought about the liberty light bar on my 1st gen 4rnr. Like the light bar on the Tacome is away from the sides and low. Trails here will tear thule bars and luggage racks off, I found out the hard way. They look cool but aren't practical.
