Avatar test
Hi
Sorry guys - just testing my avatar but.... I do have some new mods to shout about: IPF driving lights and Hella fog lights. As soon as I get some pics I'll post them.
One question though to anyone who is using an ARB winch bullbar and WARN XD9000 combination: do you find you have to drill new holes in the roller fairlead in order to bolt the two together? And will this effect the "integrity" of the fairlead?
Cheers, enzo

Enzo, I have the ARB & XD9000 combo.
Central 4WD put mine on, but I don't think they had to drill any new holes.
I don't know, maybe these closeups you can tell.

Hope this helps.
The lever for the tranny is also mounted from the bottom.

Thanks, but I can't quite see it...I think it's because you have a different roller fairlead to the one they supply here in the UK. From the pics I can see you have a "bolt" head on top of the fairlead mounting - here the RF's don't come like this. On our RFs there is one (verticaly) central bolt hole whereas the bolt hole is bottom (verticaly) on the actual ARB bumper. Here people have told me that they just drill new holes in the RF to match up with the ARB bumper - but I am unwilling to accept this solution and am looking around for a RF that fits perfectly.
Many thanks for some more pictures of your "tasty" looking runner!

Hmmm, I wonder if you can get Central 4WD to ship you the same fairlead I have?
Their link is in the venders section.
I can't remember if my RF is a Warn supplied one, or if it's by ARB.
They would know for sure.
