ARB locker and compressor, good deal?

I came across this website and they are selling the locker and compressor combo for $840 with free shipping until Monday. I know this is a lot cheaper than most of the places I'd seen. Anybody have any experience with them? Good, bad? I'm just waiting for Extreme Mike's confirmation if he can price match this so I can buy it. Any inputs are appreciated.

Here's the link:

Not the best price, but is a fair price depending on how much they charge for shipping

just remember, you still have to pay someone to install the locker and set up the gears. That can be a little pricy too. unless of course you can do gears.

How much do the shops normally charged for installation? I also have a guy on our ship (he actually works for me) who can set-up gears and such. He also build race cars for the amatuer racers. I haven't actually asked him yet how much he's going to charge me for the install. we're both attached to the ship so free time is kind of limited especially now that we are preparing to deploy in the Persian Gulf.

Does that include the removal of the 3rd member? I was thinking about removing/installation of the 3rd myself and have somebody do the locker install. I was thinking of just bringing the 3rd to the shop and have them install the locker and air line. Anyway, do I need any other parts for the install aside from the locker itself? I really want this done as soon as possible. I excited.

Well, I just called my local 4wheel parts store and they charge $65/hr for the install. He said it will take him about three hours to do the locker install as long as I bring the 3rd member and locker to them. How hard is it to remove the 3rd along with the axles? Any other things that I need to know? Thanks.

Back is easy. Front is a pain in the ass from what I hear. I can only afford to do the rear right now b/c of the cost of labor to do the front

Do I have to change the carrier bearings also? They cost about $20 each and I'm thinking changing them out. What about the axle seals?

While it is apart, it's not a bad idea to replace all of those "consumables".

I was quoted $1649 from PORC in Atl, GA for front and rear ARB's, new 5.29 gears and master install kits shipped to Pgh. (I already have a compressor) He said he will beat any deal. PM me if you want a direct link. Install in addition obviously...

How much are you looking to pay for an ARB compressor if bought seperately?

So if the locker itself -according the link provided above- is $650, how is it that you're getting a deal with for combo at $840?

Is this the "deal" that we're looking at?

Yup, that's the one. I checked out other places and most of them sell the locker between 650-700 and the compressor for 190-219 plus shipping. I PM'ed mike at extreme offroad and he said that prices had gone up but can still price match the above link. I called and PM'ed him this afternoon to inquire if he can ship it free but I didn't get any response so I just went ahead and order it from the above-mentioned place.
