Looks good Ducky.
ARBs rock.
Try & make it to the Jam.
I am going to try, but I have been very busy as of late.
I think I can make it for Friday, and sleep up there, then I would have to head back home Saturday.

I was able to get everything out of the box last night.(The box was a little overkill for what was inside)How about those instructions?4 pages,a few pictures & a ton of parts this should be fun.:pat: I guess I'll have to save
until it's installed.
Ducky,
For the most part was it all bolt on? I read where you had to cut off a weld, was that factory welds? & how did you cut it off?(hack saw, torch, grinder)Mine is going on a 2003 Tacoma xtra-cab.

Yea the instructions sucked.... IMHO... I wish I had a digital camera at the time i woulda made better instructions... you might if you can for the yotatech group...
As far as the weld, it was factory and kinda resembles a upsidedown triangle... I had an old, I mean ANCIENT, angle grinder that I found some grinding wheels too, I was going to use a recipricating saw, but the grinder at an angle to take enough off of each side of that bracket in a line that I could take a large cresent wrench and bend back and forth till it broke off... then you grind it flush with the frame rail... then the front should come off (since you grind off the welds) theres prolley a simpler way, but thats all I had....
on the tacomas... I dont think you need to grind.... you see the square blocks in the mount kit? you need to bolt those up.. toyota shortened the frame rails on the tacomas... and they give you those to extend them. If you need help im sure theres plenty of ppl here that can help, a 4runner install will be close to a tacoma install but not quite... if you need help feel free to call ARB here in seattle .. (206) 264 1669 ask for a tech and they are the best techs to talk to, most of the time you dont even get on hold long....
Dont forget to cuss and bust knuckles trying to get some of those bolts on... it's a necessity...

It would be really nice to see up there at least thru Saturday.
Maybe you can teach a waxing class for those in the group who plan on staying behind at camp or you can lead a Ravens Roost group.

Black rims were not an option. There are three main manufacturers that people go with, American Racing, Allied, and Tech1. I just got my Tech1 rockcrawlers on, and I love them:

Well it's on! Instructions were completely useless, all trial & error. There was no cutting or welding involved at all completely bolt on.It took from 10:00 till 5:00,we spent alot of time trying to figure out where to mount the solenoid box.Since I put a Ramsey on instead of a Warn the box didn't fit where the Warn's go.We decided to mount it on the ARB splash pan right under the winch motor, then extended the remote plug to the front of the bumper.I couldn't fit it under the hood (no room there)anyways it's out of site & behind the bumper.I'm happy with the look of it & that I bought the ARB(was thinking of TJM or a custom)
Thanks for all the tips guys they helped alot!
