ARB bull bar install
hey everyone, i have a 97 4runner and just recieved my arb winch bumper. i took off the stock bumper and am looking at these "directions" but im very confused. i do not know how much i am supposed to cut off the frame and i sort of understand how it is supposed to be mounted. is there some template for cutting the frame rails? or am i just supposed to wing it? BTW my runner does not have the frame end "plates" like i see on newer ones, it has the rounded ends.

Those endcaps unbolt from your framerails. There shouldn't be any need to cut. After they're off, the brackets should slip right on. Depending on which bumper you got, you may or many not have to drill a hole. Which one did you get? Sahara or Taco?

ok i realized that all i had to do was unbolt those rounded things. i got the mounting bracket on just fine but i am confused about this "radiator support/stone guard" and where it mounts. the instructions do not say so does anyone know? can i put it on after the bumper is mounted or should i mount it to the bumper first?

You're talking about the plate... you can see it in this pic... right under where the arrows are pointing. Yes. It goes on last.
If you want to add some fog lights... this is a good location:
