I'm from Shreveport, LA, but I'm here in TX now healing from a combat injury I got in Iraq. (story for another time)

Kinda wet here now, but I've seen lots of 4wd yotas around here. I'm trying to find out where everyone takes their trucks to play, other than the closest mud pit (I'm not a huge fan of "Muddin") I prefer dirt, hills, rocks, sand, etc. I'd like to get together with someone that knows the area and test out my truck, once it dries out a little.

Any takers.

Oh yeah, The closest place I know to here is Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer, TX. SWEEEET place to go. Just a couple of hours. I'd be willing to go for a weekend ride there.

Check out TXTTORA some of the guys are around FT HOOD. There is a run scheduled for Gilmer at the end of Feb. Jacque

No prob. Are you going to be in Texas for a while? Our club does runs about once a month. We go to Gilmer alot, right now everyone is getting ready for the Lonestar Landcruiser round up.
