I was searching the internet today for the Piaa 540 lamps that I'm intereted in. I found this post on a Dodge forum...

can't see paying that much if that's what they call cheap.....I've got four sets of hella's four across the topp and four in the grille guard and they light up everything real well and I didn't near as much as they are asking for tose piaa's I JUST DON"T GET IT !!!!!! and didn't get them....lol

 

Thanks for the tip......but I got some 520's on ebay a few weeks ago and his price on them is pretty much the same......there are always some on ebay

 

Well, the Piaa 540s retail on almost every website for around $220. You can find them for around $200, but most places are charging the full price. $155 ain't bad at all if you ask me. I've got a set of Piaa 1000Xs mounted in my lower valence in the front and I love them.

There's some 540s on Ebay right now for $165 plus a flat rate of $15 for shipping which seems high to me. I'll have to see what this guy comes back with as far as shipping goes. You're right, it may work out to be a wash.

I used to have the 520 fogs, and I was really disappointed with their performance. They flat out didn't work that great.

 

if you got the 520s witht the fog beam, they dont put out that much light, the driving pattern is so much better.
