Aftermarket gas caps

Aftermarket gas caps
I don't know how many of you Tacoma guys/gals have this problem but mine never came with a locking fuel door so I've been making do with a locking cap for the last few years.
I'm curious though... has anyone had problems with these?
It just occurred to me that I *may* be having the CEL issues of the last year or so because of the cap.
I reset the code today and replaced the OEM cap. So I'll know for sure soon enough.
Anyone want to share their experiences with theirs?

Tacoma Dude: Yes, the fuel cap can cause CEL's on a Taco. If it doesn't seal well enough, you can get CEL codes relating to fuel pressure / emissions-related stuff.
Stant is the OEM manufacturer for Taco caps. I've got a Stant locking cap on my '04 Taco, and it worked right out of the box.
However, I've seen claims that some people have had problems with aftermarket caps not quite fitting well enough to please the ECU. In these cases, it sometimes takes a replacement or two to get one that seals well enough.
I'm not aware of any source for a locking cap other than Stant.
