They had an anniversary edition?
I thought the 4runner was introduced in '84?
Did they have a 15th anniversary edition?

the 50th anniversary addition was in 1997, but it was for the landcruiser, not the runner

Well there's bunches of them around here. They all seem to be the same color, got "Anniversary Edition" emblems located where the "Limited" emblems are and a rear wing spoiler. No, I'm not looking at the same one where ever I go, theres quite a few.

LoL, are you suure? It could be like that movie GroundHogs day?

Take a pic of them, then post them up. Im interested as to what makes the the anniversary edition. Maybe its a couple of people who wanted to turn thiers into some sort of Anniversary Edition. I know theres a Sport Editon

But of course I won't find one now since I want to take a picture of one. I'm telling you, I'm not looking at the same one over and over like groundhog day, there's a few.

lol.... actually, there's some discussion on MUD as to whether there will be a 50th anniversary edition UZJ, or if there will be a special edition of the FJ Cruiser.

In Hawaii, do you have to have a state registration sticker in the front windshield? In NY you do, and on that sticker is the year of the vehcile. If you see one parked at some point, take a look at the registration sticker - that will tell you what year it is.

guys,

Hawaii is NOT part of Toyota Motor Sales USA. Hawaii is part of Toyota of Japan. At least this is waht I was told when I worked at TMS USA in 98. Therefore, it could possibly be true that our Hawaiian members get stuff that we do not.

I was also thinking that maybe it might be a Hilux "anniversary edition" instead since Hawaii was much closer to Asia/Australia than US.
Anyone know if Hiluxes have an "anniversary edition"?
