Airraid MIT

Hey guys, I was wondering if the airraid MIT would fit on my 97 4runner? On airraids website it says 99 and up. I am pretty sure it will but I would just like to know for sure. Thanks allot..

The mit will fit, I have a 98 4runner with 3.4 V6 and I had the same question as well before I put the airaid mit undr my hood, but I went ahead and did it anyways and it fits perfectly. The other guys here will give you tons of info if you need any help. Go ahead and get it and do the deckplate mod as well, you'll enjoy performance gain from both of these mods.

I got the Airaid Jr. kit which is the mit and the air filter, so definitely get it. It took me about 45 min. to get mine on and that's because I cleaned out the throttle body while I had the intake tube off.

so far it's working good for me, this is my 1st HP air filter I've installed, previously I used stock air filters. It is not a foam filter, its more like a K&N filter that has the mesh screening and then the layers.

rocket bought mine that fits the 99-02 for his 96. I think all he had to do was buy a second barb for an additional vacuum line.
