Well guys.. I haven't done anything to the 87 22R in a while and am planning a little work soon. I am thinking new valve cover gasket and screw gaskets (are these the grommets), new transmission pan gasket (it is a little leaky) and a new trans fluid filter. Anything else you guys can think of to help things out a little bit? I am still trying to get that starter off to check the copper condutors but the top bolt is tightened as tight as can be and I couldn't get it loose (gave it a couple squirts of oil to try and loosen it up a little and will give it another try). The bottom bolt on the other hand was already half way out when I slid under her. Fun Fun. Hopefully in the next day or two I will have the starter off and be checking out the no starting problem. Any suggestions for more things to do?
