after lifting problem
hey iam kinda new at this, i just have lifted my 96 4runner with the rancho lift kit and ome shocks. it all went well except that there is to much angle on my cv joints and iam squirting out grease from inside the boot. i have looked around for diff drop but nobody around my location has one. is there such thing as bigger boots or something.
what have u guys done?

Go to the vendors section here on YT and I'm sure you'll find a diff drop.
Common problem w/ the CVs, I put some hose clamps over my stock clamps (because I couldn't get them any tighter) and it bought me some time, maybe a year. Ultimately, you'll need to get new CV axles (cheaper and easier than re-booting them). My CVs are fine now. I think my stock ones just got used to being at the same angle for about 10 years and the sudden change was just too much for them.
If you use hose clamps, don't put them too close to the vertical part of the boot, it will tear into it after a while. Just put them over the outer 1/2 of the existing clamp.
And 6"! I hope some of that is body lift.

yah, there is tons. i got mine from chaosfab.com. but there is a million places that sell them. I had to get a couple of longer bolts/washers to fit the skidplate after doing this mod. cost like couple bucks.

Why do you hope some of that is body lift Brian????
aint nothin wrong with a lifted truck..look at the IFS chevies..i've seen some HUGE lifts on them..althought it will make your 4runner more top heavy..might wanna get some wheel spacers to compensate for the added height..like some 1.5" wheel spacers all around..with some 4" backspaced rims..lol
