Would my 98 Limited 3.4L with stock alt be able to hadle a linear amp with a 30 amp draw max? Or should I upgrade the alt, and if so what's available?

 

I have a stock altinator, a red top optima and run 10 lights, my headlights and a stereo with 1,800 watts and my volt meter only drops below 13.2 volts when I close a window. I did however run an exta 8 guage wire from the altinator to the battery and it jumped up .1 volts.

It should, but you've got to stretch the cables a bit to reach the poles. There is no reverse pole yellow top.
