97 runner seat covers

The drivers side seat is getting pretty bad on my 97
runner and I?m thinking I?ll put some seat covers on it. As a rule I hate seat covers but I need to do something. Any recommendations on what covers to get. I?d like something that at least sort of looks like the originals.

I am also looking for a some seat covers for my 1997 4Runner. Since I have lifted it the edge of my seat has been worn down due to me hopping in and out of my 4Runner. I know that I want a seat cover that has a pocket in the back. I have been looking at getting some wet okole seat covers. They are waterproof and very durable.

Here is the website and they can custom make some for you as well with whatever colors you want. They are also pretty resonabely priced as well.

i've known a lot of jeep people with em and i've heard nothing short of spectactular. in short, you get what you pay for, they're the most durable ones out there, customizing ability is a plus too

I thought they looked good but when ordering on the internet sometimes I feel like I'm buying something blind so I appricate someone who has actually seen the covers.

If you do a search on here you will find many threads on wet okole. I had a set for my 92 4Runner. My thoughts were that they were ok. They felt great due to like an inch of extra padding, but, the middle of the seats kept on getting those little pilly things, so they were wearing fast. also i did not find them water proof at all, more like water absorbant and took a while to become dry. Do not get an extra logo as it will wear quickly. Id say just get dark colours. I had grey in the middle and black on the sides. They always looked dirty, and pretty much attracted dog hair. Now others swear by these, but thats my experience with them. I wouldnt buy them again. Id probably get those leather/simulated leather covers. Easy to clean and dry.
