It's a play truck it could be a dd but I just use it to go to the hunting club, river etc. If I go with the arb in the rear I will already have the setup for the front. My truck is in the shop right now getting all the rear bearing changed. Im gonna have them put it in while it's tore apart.

The arb rear locker is gonna cost around 1800 parts and labor. That's about average ain't it

Installing a new carrier isn't really a shade tree sort of operation. You've got the pinion fore/aft spacing, and the carrier left/right spacing, they all have to be just right for the gears to not eat themselves.
