'95 4Runner Accident Photos
Here's a link to my current 4Runner. I was on my way to school in a residential when i was hit from the left in the middle of an intersection. Some GMC Denali tried making a left except forgot to wait till i was through the intersection. My vehicle changed directions on impact and i in turn ran into a parked Ford coupe and a tree. I started in lane one and ended in lane 2... Oh yeah... i had bush whackers. I actually looked at them and they don't look scratched. Maybe because they have the matte finish.

I just hope they don't name it totalled. Can't get that much money for the blue book value of 2nd gens... Good thing i have full coverage and i get a free rental.
Oh yeah... Nobody was hurt... I was the only one near injury.

Have faith. I had an accident in my '90 4 years ago and there was more damage than that and it came to just over $8,000 to repair. The insurance company never said beans (and my rate didn't change much afterwards. Go figure...).

It looks almost totalled but I dont think its a loss. You will need 3-4 new panels alightnment and some other stuff. If they were rolling a denali I think they would have good insurence. Just make sure she drives straight. I would ask for a new paintjob so your panels will match. Your lucky you didnt tip over.

Ah man, sorry to see that, glad you are OK.
If your insurance company decides to pay for it to be fixed up, see about getting an ARB up front.
That would have saved a lot of the front end, really, they are designed for that.
It looks like most of the damage was up front.
Your rig is in a lot better shape though than what my '90 truck was.

I thought they could fix mine, but there was to much damage mainly from the last half back, and the rear axle was a pretzel.
I did not feel a thing hardly in it either, and I was hit about 45 MPH.
The Toy died to save me.

I got in a front end collision in August and had to replace, one headlight, valance, bumper, hood, driver side fender and grille and was given $4,100 for my damages. I took this opportunity to get a billet grille and billet valance. Good luck with the rebuild and glad your alright.

Sorry to hear about the crash. The important thing is no one was hurt. Ins. co. are strange... to try to guess what they will do is a waste of time. I'm not sure I'm seeing things correctly, but it looks like there may be some suspension damage. Looks like it may be leaning in one of the pics. And the no. 7 pic, are the frt. tires pointing in 2 diff. directions?

Well the final word is that my 95 red SR5 was pronounced totalled shortly after 11:00 am today. She will be missed dearly as my first vehicle. They priced her at a little over $12k. Just remember that she was 106K miles and still running strong.
