My friends 89 4runner's rear window will not go up. We are trying to track down the problem, and I thought maybe someone has had the same problem and can share w/ us. Thanx.

 

it wont go up? has the top been removed recently? if not it could be the regulator or motor or switch. the whole system could be messed up. if the top has been removed there is a bolt that you may have forgoten to reinstall that completes the circuit for the motor.
