Would it be very tough to install a turbo on a N/A '86 4Runner?? THanks.

 

It might be easier to swap in a stock22re turbo engine. If you do it that way, you'd just need the engine and ecu. If you put a turbo in the stock 22re, then you will need to get the turbo exhaust manifold, bigger injecters, 22ret ecu, drill a couple of holes for the oil lines...There's probably some other things, but I can't think right now. check out Jeff Moskovitz's site for what he's done to his 22ret engine.
