has anyone put in 550cc injectors for a s/c 3.4? I was speaking to someone who suggested this. he also suggested the supra maf and he said he had "dli and standalone" which i'm not sure what it means.
what do you guys think about this? if I were to add these injectors what fuel pump should I upgrade to?

550cc injectors are probably double what you'd reasonable need. Waaaaaaay overkill.
By "standalone" he meant he was using a seperate infinitely more tunable ECU basically, to replace the functions of the stock ECU.

ya way overkill. do a search...most use 318cc(same as stock non-turbo supra). I'm using 390cc from URD-according to the research i've done, these seem to be the max before extreme tuning measures are required for everyday drivability.

Why try to reinvent the wheel? You could spend many thousands of $$$$$ in R&D and still not figure out what Gadget has already done.

BTW the newer style MAFs (which you probably have in your 99) are not restrictive like those early 96,97,?? MAFs were. Switching to a different MAF will greatly complicate the tuning (the hardest part of the fuel mods IMHO), especially if you go with the URD 7th injector because it uses the factory ECU fuel map in non-boosted areas of the fuel map and a different MAF will make the whole factory ECU fuel map worthless. And for what? The TRD supercharger is a positive displacement pump, minor restrictions have little effect on it, it will force the air in just fine, don't worry. If you want more boost go to a smaller pulley. If you want more than 10-11 psi of boost get a turbo.
