4Runner Rear Window
WOndering if anyone else has had the same 'scratch' on their 4Runner rear window. I'm currently in the process of tearing down the interior of my '87 4Runner, and the rear window has a abrasive streak that is on the passenger side, is about 6 inches long. I've felt it, and it doesn't appear to be a surface scratch on the glass, but it's noticable.
Only reason I ask, is that I also have a '90 4Runner, and have the same mark on it's rear window. ANyone know what this might be caused by, and if it's fixable, outside the obvious of replacing the rear glass?

yes, i have it on my '89, haven't noticed it on the '90 though. i think it's because of the key switch. there's a rubber cover that goes over the plug that works the window with the key. the one in my '89 was not plugged in all the way and i think it was rubbing the window. of course that's just a guess, i could be completely wrong.
